Impact Selected to Exhibit in Microsoft Booth at ACORD Conference 2003

Charlotte, NC - April 9, 2003 - Impact Technologies Group (Impact), a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, today announced its selection as an exhibitor in Microsoft's booth at ACORD's Annual Conference in Orlando, Florida on May 18-20, 2003.

"We were excited to be selected last year as one of Microsoft's elite group of partners pushing Microsoft's Insurance Value Chain initiative. Our selection this year comes as no surprise since we have worked overtime this past year to further solidify our place in the value chain. We have partnered with other elite partners in the Insurance Value Chain including Mobitor and Adminserver to integrate and show our straight-through processing capability. These integration efforts will be prominently illustrated in the Microsoft booth at ACORD this year." said Kevin Clay, President of Impact.

ACORD (the Association for Cooperative Operations Research and Development) is a nonprofit organization that develops and maintains AL3, OLifE, XML, and ACORD Forms standards for the insurance industry. ACORD provides excellent resources for information about EDI, XML, object technology, and electronic commerce both in the United States and abroad.

"ACORD's theme this year is Pathways to Business Success, and "just-in-time", "real-time access" will be alive and well in our booth this year. Our partners in the Insurance Value Chain will all feature integrated solutions that showcase how web services will benefit the financial services industry," said Josh Lee, Lead Technical Strategist - Financial Services, for Microsoft. "Impact is a valuable partner that engages with Microsoft in many capacities but has demonstrated outstanding achievement as an elite partner in our Insurance Value Chain."
